Banbury United have said they are "monitoring the state of the pitch" with an update expected imminently.

Today's game could be in doubt after heavy rain this week, with a number of the host's games having already fallen victim to the weather this season.

Posting on X, formerly Twitter, Banbury said they will have more news come 10am.

The weather for the Oxfordshire town today, according to the Met Office, is sunny spells and light showers.

Hereford said on social media: "We can confirm that we’re in contact with Banbury United FC officials this morning and that we are hoping to be able to provide an update on pitch conditions at around 10am."

Hereford could have up to 800 supporters backing them this afternoon and for anyone who currently hasn't got tickets, there are just minutes remaining.
