Home fans at last year's match at Banbury |
This afternoon's game at Banbury has been postponed.
The club said the decision was made after a pitch inspection, with water lying on the pitch.
Many Hereford fans were already on their way to the game, including on a train from the city earlier this morning.
The Bulls would have been searching for their second win on the bounce as they try to secure a play-off place.
With just five games left of Hereford's season, they lie two points outside of the play-offs and four of the 10 sides above them still have a game in hand. They could have had up to 800 supporters backing them at today's game.
Meanwhile, Banbury United are nine points from safety with seven games still to play.
They have lost their last nine games, with their last win coming two months ago.
