Members of former pop band Boyzone could be about to buy shares in a National League North club and are set to watch their FA Trophy clash this weekend.
As Hereford take on National League side Gateshead at Edgar Street, fellow step two side Chorley will also be hosting a side from non-league's top flight in the Trophy.
The side, currently sixth in the table - two places above the Bulls - will have Boyzone stars in the crowd for the game against Solihull Moors.
Ronan Keating, Shane Lynch and Keith Duffy will be there, along with former Westlife star Brian McFadden, and the club said it was part of discussions that could see the Irish musicians "become the face of the club".
The Lancashire club declined to give more detail despite widespread newspaper speculation, according to the BBC.
Formed in 1993, Boyzone had UK number ones with hits including Words, No Matter What and All That I Need.
The club's chief operating officer said he was "thrilled" the trio would be attending.
Tom Clarke said the move had "the potential to bring our town into the limelight like never before".
Owner Prince Yemoh has said he wanted to restore the "buzz" around the club following his takeover in May last year.
