But he played no part in the second half.
Manager Paul Caddis explained the reasoning.
"Tight calf," said Caddis.
"He was going to get 60 minutes max today.
"But with a tight calf I just thought with the conditions, the pitch was heavy.
"I didn't want to be here in ten days time and we don't see Andy Williams again.
"I just thought it was sensible to take him off the pitch.
"We had a discussion, Willo is an experienced player.
"He thought he could give it five minutes, however a couple of minutes later he almost made the decision himself, he was struggling a little bit.
"So we just tried to protect him."
