Striker Jonathon Margetts has joined Kings Lynn ahead of their game at Hereford.
Margetts had been playing for Matlock Town and has scored 28 goals in 28 games.
But the offer of a return to full time football and a package which Matlock could not compete with was enough for Margetts to agree a move.
Lynn manager Adam Lakeland was pleased with the signing.
"I’m delighted to bring Jonny to the club," said Lakeland.
"He is a proven goal scorer having scored goals throughout his career at a number of clubs, particularly in recent years where his goals-to-games ratio is unrivalled. He is a natural finisher, goal-seeker and has excellent movement in and around the final third."
Lynn have also brought in Quevin Castro on loan from York.
“Castro is a player with great physique and presence on a football pitch. He is athletic, has a good engine, good technical ability and has a goal in him."
