Hereford FC are looking for a 'customer service assistant' to help out at Edgar Street.
The main responsibilies of the part-time post:
- Customer Service: This is the key role that the successful candidate will be asked to undertake. The successful candidate will often be the first point of contact a fan has with the club and so must always make a great first impression whilst offering our supporters fantastic service. The successful candidate will be required to engage with supporters, volunteers, other stakeholders and visitors in a friendly and professional manner, addressing enquiries, providing information, and resolving concerns to enhance the overall experience of supporters and other stakeholders.
- Ticketing Support: Assist with ticket sales, distribution, and resolution of ticket-related issues. Ensure accurate record-keeping and efficient processing of ticket transactions.
- Phone and Email Communication: Handle incoming phone calls and emails, responding promptly to inquiries, providing information, and escalating issues as necessary.
- Problem Resolution: Address and resolve customer concerns, complaints, or issues in a proactive and effective manner, ensuring customer satisfaction. We are looking for someone who is outgoing, has a positive attitude and is able to deal with confrontation and occasionally stressful situations in a positive manner.
- Administrative Support: Assist in general office tasks, including data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate records related to customer interactions. We’re looking for someone who uses their initiative, can see a job that needs doing, and get on and do it to a high standard.
- Matchday Assistance: Be a key point of contact for supporters on matchdays, providing assistance with directions, facilities, and general information. No two matchday’s will be the same. The successful candidate will need to be flexible and happy to lend a hand to any job that needs completing in the fast-paced environment of matchdays.
- Merchandise Sales: Provide ad-hoc support to the Club Shop, assist
with face-to-face sales, help process online orders, and help maintain
stock levels/stock reports.
Hours are:
Tuesday and Friday: 10am to 4pm
Saturday (match days): 11am to 3pm
Tuesday (match days): 4pm to 8pm
Salary:
£10.42 per hour
