Newly appointed Gillingham head coach Stephen Clemence will have his first game in charge at Hereford on Saturday in the FA Cup.
"There's a game coming up at the weekend," said Clemence.
"I'm going to be in the dug out for that.
"So I'm already planning now and looking at Hereford and how we beat them.
"We know it will be a tough game, we know they will want to beat an EFL team and cause a shock.
"But we have to be ready and prepared like we will be for every game going forward.
"It should be one the boys are looking forward to.
"I haven't had one game yet, let's just get into the job, do our best to get through that FA Cup tie at the weekend which will be a difficult fixture away from home."
