Gillingham Statement About Hereford Tickets:
'Gillingham has been given an initial allocation of 532 tickets for the first round Emirates FA Cup tie against Hereford on November 4.
Kick-Off is scheduled for 3pm at Edgar Street.
Please be aware that all purchases are ONLINE ONLY. There will be no in person purchases prior to, or on the day of the game.
We regret to inform supporters that, due to the fact no physical tickets are being issued and all purchases are being made through the Hereford website, we are unable to give Gillingham season ticket holders a priority window on this occasion.
Tickets will go on general sale straight away. We apologise for this, however it is not possible for us to implement a priority functionality on the Hereford platform.
The initial available allocation will be 352 terrace tickets and 180 seats. Dependent on sales, Hereford will then release up to another 184 seats. This is due to safety segregation. The additional tickets will be released in two separate batches.'
BN note: Although this statement was released by Gillingham this afternoon, it looks as though a decision not to release the additional 184 tickets was taken yesterday.
This is why extra tickets in the Len Weston stand went on sale to Hereford supporters.
