Last Tuesday Hereford manager Paul Caddis wore 'different attire' at the game against Banbury.
In the programme for tomorrow's game he explains why.
'Finally on Tuesday evening my touchline attire was a little different - a crisp white jumper with a brilliant print of 3 teddy bears all holding hands.
This particular jumper was designed by my daughter, who was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes just over a year ago.
Tuesday was National Diabetes Day and in honour of my daughter’s fight with a lifelong diagnosis, I wore the top in support of everyone dealing with such a hidden and difficult condition.
As a parent of a young diabetic sufferer, I have to say
that at such a tender age of 11 (10 when she was
diagnosed) to save your own life effectively every
single day in managing your blood sugar levels
through injections of insulin is not only admirable,
but truly inspirational.'
