Caddis Brings In Pugh From Scunthorpe

Hereford manager Paul Caddis has brought in midfielder Tom Pugh from Scunthorpe.

Pugh joins for a month and is available to play against Brackley this evening.

It's a timely loan given Alex Babos may miss a couple of games and Aurio Teixiera is suspended this evening.

"We have brought Tom in on an emergency one-month loan and look forward to working with him," said Caddis.

“He has experience in the EFL and National League with Scunthorpe, as well as having National League North appearances under his belt. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank Lee Turnbull and Scunthorpe United for their support in getting the deal sorted.

“Tom will come in at a time when we have a lot of games coming up and is a welcome addition to our squad.”

Scunthorpe have also reported the loan deal.

'Iron midfielder Tom Pugh has joined fellow Vanarama National League North side Hereford on an initial one-month loan.

The 23-year-old Doncaster-born player, who has also been capped for Wales U21s, has made 68 appearances for the Iron so far in all competitions.

Formerly of Leeds United, he came through our Iron academy where he was skipper, with the tenacious midfielder being restricted to just four substitute appearances so far this season following an injury sustained in pre-season.'
