Supporter Taken To Hospital During Yesterday's Match At Edgar Street

A Hereford FC supporter was taken to hospital after feeling unwell during the first half of yesterday's game at Edgar Street.

Named by the Hereford Times as Steve Griffiths it's thought he may have had a heart attack.

In his post match interview manager Paul Caddis spoke about the incident.

"We heard the news about the supporter in the crowd," said Caddis.

"We send our best and we hope that he is stable."

In a tweet the club gave a few details.

'We can confirm that there was a medical emergency involving a supporter during today's game. We're pleased to report that the supporter is in a stable condition in hospital, and we wish them a full and speedy recovery.

'We would like to thank our matchday medical team, including Paramedics provided by Point to Point Services, our Club Doctor, and an off-duty Helimed Doctor who all provided an expert emergency response at the scene until West Mercia Ambulance Service arrived.'
