Hereford manager Paul Caddis has brought in winger Yusifu Ceesay.
“I am delighted to bring Yusifu into the group ahead of our FA Cup game on Saturday," said Caddis.
“Yusifu will offer us a different threat in wide areas with his pace and direct, positive approach. He spent the second half of last season at Alfreton after moving from Kidderminster and has previously scored in the National League North at Edgar Street.
“I am hoping he will add more goals to his tally at Edgar Street this season, but this time in a Bulls’ shirt!
“Yusifu has slotted in nicely at training in the last few days and, having been unfortunate with injuries at the top end of the field so far, we are excited to add more attacking threat to our squad.
“Interestingly, we are currently 4th out of the 48 teams across the National Leagues North and South for getting into 1v1 attacking situations and we know Yusifu can capitalise on those duels, resulting in more chances being created.”
Ceesay is a 30 year old Spanish winger who began his career in the Midlands, featuring for Sporting Khalsa and Alvechurch before moving into the EFL with Blackpool.
Loan spells at the likes of Boston and Telford followed, with Ceesay spending two spells with Altrincham before his move to Alfreton.
Later he joined Kidderminster before returning to Alfreton in November 2022.
Ceesay has played at least twice at Edgar Street. He was in the Nuneaton team that drew 2-2 with Hereford in January 2019.
And he featured for Alfreton in April 2022 scoring one of their two goals.
