Jordan Cranston has said he's enjoying being an U18s coach at Chasetown |
Hereford left-back Jordan Cranston, who signed over the summer from National League North champions AFC Fylde, has said he's enjoying his new coaching career.
Alongside playing part-time for the Edgar Street side, 30-year-old Cranston is also Chasetown's under-18s assistant manager.
With the first team playing in step four's Northern Premier League Division One West, they have a youth development programme (YDP).
Cranston, formerly of Notts County, Cheltenham Town and Morecambe, has been part of the programme since July.
He said: "Very much enjoying my coaching journey so far.
"A lot of things I’m learning behind the scenes from a great bunch of guys at Chasetown YDP, the lads are great watching the next generation progress and the performances over the last couple of weeks to match as well."
His comments come after a 5-0 win over their Bilbrook counterparts.
The YDP at the Staffordshire club said: "We're delighted to have Jordan Cranston as part of our coaching staff.
"Our players learn a lot from his experience."
Cranston has a Level 2 coaching badge and is working towards his UEFA B coaching badge and personal training qualifications, according to his LinkedIn.
