Caddis Brings In Lyden

Midfielder Jordan Lyden has joined Hereford.

He is manager Paul Caddis's second signing in as many days.

“Jordan is a brilliant midfielder who has won League 2 twice already in his career," said Caddis.

"He’s a ball winning central midfielder but has great quality in possession and makes good decisions.”

“Jordan is a brilliant signing for our football club and I am a huge admirer of his having played alongside him several years ago.

“When you have an opportunity to sign players like Jordan I think we are a club that needs to grasp those opportunities and make the most of it. He will add further competition to the group and strengthen our squad further.”

27 year old Lyden hails from Australia.

He joined the Aston Villa academy when aged 16 and made his debut as a substitute in a FA Cup tie in 2016 but he only made four first team appearances in six years.

He spent a period on loan with Oldham, however he was troubled with injuries.

Then he joined Swindon and made 45 appearances for them before moving to Leyton Orient in January 2023 on a deal until the end of the season.
