Aurio Teixeira
Hereford have nabbed all three points in a 2-1 win at Chester this evening to end their poor run in sensational style.
After four straight defeats in the National League North, the Bulls found themselves on the back foot at the Deva after Declan Weeks converted from the spot in the first half.
After edging the first half, with two great saves from Curtis Pond to keep the deficit at just one goal, Chester failed to capitalise on chances after the break.
They were then stung by a quick double from Hereford as the smash-and-grab unfolded.
The equaliser came from substitute Lassana Mendes in the 83rd minute after sustained Hereford pressure, then in the 89th minute Aurio Teixeira's rocket secured the three points.
Koby Arthur could've made in three in injury time, but he blasted over the bar with Mendes in support.
What a comeback.
