Hereford were outplayed all over the park this afternoon at Tamworth. In particular Koby Arthur had a difficult game playing up front with two big defenders, both former Hereford players against him.
Keith Hall suggested that Arthur needed the ball on the deck. Tamworth's Liburd and Willets won nearly every ball in the air.
"It's a pity you can't come into the dressing room before the game Keith," said Caddis.
"I told the two wide players we wanted the split the two center-halves so when Pond had it, could we get the two wide players really high and wide which would force the opposition wingers to come back and mark them. Or stay high and Pond has the ability to play it into their feet.
"But he kept playing down the middle of the pitch.
"We spoke about that and tried to get more possession.
"Listen I've got two daughters, eight and eleven, they could be comfortable in possession at 2-0 down. It's easy to get on the ball.
"Leaders and characters want to get on the ball when things are against you.
"A lot of words have been spoken which is needed, it needs to happen.
"We're in tomorrow night, we'll go through probably the majority of the game if not all of it.
"I think it's important we reflect on it and try and learn from it."
