Hereford chairman Chris Ammonds has been speaking about the Paul Caddis evening which is taking place this Friday.
"Paul has kindly agreed to do an event on Friday night ahead of the first home game.
"We've badged it as 'An Evening With Paul Caddis'.
"He's got a really interesting story, interesting career.
"He did an event in Leominster which went down really well and so we thought it would be really good to do one in Hereford which will be in the Hereford Suite on Friday evening.
"£15 per ticket because it would be good to raise a bit of money as well. That will get you some hot food and a drink.
"Any profit from the evening we will try and put it towards overnight stays for the players because Paul feels strongly that they are of benefit and I think it was clear on Saturday that they are of benefit.
"We haven't actually budgeted for any overnight stays as it stands, they haven't been in the budget in previous years. So we are going to help him as best we can by raising money and trying to do some events.
"We want to help Paul as much as we can. We've made as much money as we could available to Paul's playing budget.
"It should be a really good night.
"I'm going to host it, I'm hoping I'll just tee up Paul to tell his tales, tell his stories."
