During this afternoon's fans forum Hereford chairman Chris Ammonds said that any profit from Tuesday evening's pre-season friendly against Aston Villa will go into manager Paul Caddis's budget.
"We've now got a third friendly on Tuesday night which we were not expecting," said Ammonds.
"I think Aston Villa approached Paul about the possibilty of a game.
"We've taken a decision as a board given that it is an extra friendly that we hadn't budgeted for, any profits from Tuesday's game after we've covered all the costs for hosting the game will be added to Paul's budget.
"We think it's the right thing to do, at the end of the day we are all football fans, we want to give us the best possible chance of success.
"This is an extra friendly that might not have gone ahead had Paul not been approached, I think it came off the back of the West Brom game when people were impressed how we played.
"So we think it's the right thing to do just to try and provide him with a little bit more help.
"We are managing the football budget very carefully.
"The more people that come to the game on Tuesday evening against Aston Villa, it will have a direct impact and positive influence on Paul's ability to try and complete his squad before the start of the season.
"Tickets sales for the game are already really good, they are far higher than we would normally have at this stage.
"Letting you know about that might have an impact and help Paul with the final finishing touches."
Meanwhile Ammonds said that Squad Builder is just over £30K
