A clean sheet for goal-keeper Curtis Pond last night and afterwards he spoke to the local media.
"Since coming in the lads have made me feel welcome and the gafffer has made me feel welcome," said Pond.
"I'm loving it to be fair.
"It's been good seeing all the fans and I think that was the biggest thing for me to be honest.
"When I first came out that first game just seeing the roar, it's great.
"This (opportunity) is one I could not really turn down.
"I've always said I wanted to play at the highest I possibly could and this is a great opportunity to see.
"I'm normally used to 600/700 on a good day so it's good to see a thousand home fans alone, let along when we have an away team here at Edgar Street."
How were you approached to come to Hereford?
"I believe it came from a recommendation from another keeper.
"I was at a wedding, not my own, when I got a call from the gaffer and I thought it was a joke at first.
"I took a few days to think it through, have that chat, and realised it wasn't one of my mates having me on, I thought I had to take the opportunity."
