Ryan McLean looks set to leave Hereford as he thanks fans for their support.
Hereford FC had previously said it had accepted an offer from a National League club for McLean.
“We had activated a clause in Ryan’s contract for another year here and would be delighted if he remains here, but he is keen to move into full-time football and as a club we feel the deal on offer is potentially a good one for all parties,” manager Paul Caddis said.
“Personal terms are currently being discussed.”
McLean, who made 45 appearances for Hereford last season and scored eight goals, said: “Thank you to everyone involved @HerefordFC, all the players, staff and fans, I have loved representing this club each week for the past couple of seasons.”
He joined Hereford on a permanent deal in June 2021.
