Is there a player exodus unfolding at King's Lynn?

It appears a player exodus could be unfolding in Norfolk as National League North side King’s Lynn Town have now lost six players.

The Eastern Daily Press reports that manager Mark Hughes’s summer plans will be suffering a severe hit.

Defenders Aaron Jones and Tai Fleming are the latest out the door.

They follow fellow defender Tyler Denton, midfielder Theo Widdrington, captain Michael Clunan, and leading scorer Gold Omotayo all left for pastures new.

Jones said on social media that he had made the very difficult decision to leave the club after five years and 167 appearances.

He said: “Throughout my time at The Walks, I have met some remarkable people. Managers who believed in me, team-mates who have become lifelong friends, backroom staff who went above and beyond and fans who have shown me unwavering support.

"Together, we have achieved a lot. Back-to-back promotions, the transition from part-time to full-time, FA Cup triumphs and plenty of unforgettable memories along the way."
