There’s more good news on the political front this week, as Shropshire Council voted unanimously to throw their support behind Fair Game. Councillors highlighted both the social and financial boost football clubs bring their communities.
They praised Fair Game’s proposals for the future of the game, arguing that Shropshire clubs would benefit hugely from a fairer financial flow within football. The council committed to lobbying the Minister for Sport, Shropshire MPs, and other councils for new regulations to be brought in.
This is great news and it means the Fair Game message is spreading across the country.
