There will be a pitch inspection at Spennymoor tomorrow morning ahead of their game against Peterborough Sports.
With the weather in a cold, snowy mode, it's thought there will need to be inspections at several other National North League clubs to see if games can go ahead on Saturday.
In Herefordshire, as at mid-afternoon, lying snow is melting but rain, and perhaps some snow, is expected later. At present the weather is likely to become dry from mid-morning Friday.
However the forecasters are suggesting temperatures could drop to around -3C early Saturday.

A pitch inspection has been arranged for Friday morning ahead of our weekend fixture against Peterborough Sports at The Brewery Field.
The Club took the step of covering the entire playing surface following last weekend’s game against Chorley but concerns remain following the drop in temperature, snowfall and forecast for more extremely cold weather between now and Saturday.
With it in mind that the Peterborough Sports squad are due to travel on Friday afternoon, we have now been given the go-ahead from the National League to carry out an early inspection of the pitch.
Local referee Andrew Miller will carry out that inspection at 10am on Friday morning.
