Ryan McLean Opened The Scoring For Hereford |
AFC Fylde manager Adam Murray spoke after last night's game against Hereford.
"We didn't start well," said Murray.
"We were very passive in terms of our play.
"I think when you look back at the stats we would have had 70% of the possession but we did nothing with it.
"We went sidewards and backwards and we didn't test Hereford at any point.
"The bottom line is that we gave away three really poor goals.
"We beat ourselves tonight'
"I don't think we've been beaten by a team that performed brilliantly.
"I don't think any of us saw it coming but this is football and sometimes this happens.
"We'll have to look at why we got that performance tonight because it was a shock for them as well as everybody else."
