Hereford won their National North League game against Farsley Celtic last night. Afterwards manager Josh Gowling gave his thoughts on the game to the local media.
"Since the New Year it's seven points from three games so really pleasing," said Gowling.
"We put a shift in but credit to Farsley as I thought second half they got on the front foot.
"I've watched them a bit over the last couple of weeks knowing we are going to play them. They are a hard team to play against because they have some good players who can hurt you.
"I thought we defended really well second half but the first half we did the damage to get a result.
"I was kind of pleased they turned it around really because we had a tough game Saturday and we put a lot of effort into that. They were at Alfreton Saturday, they had a tough game and they lost, marginally, 1-0.
"Ideally second half you want to go out and put some goals in the back of the net but at the end of the day I said to the lads if we can't do that and we're not feeling great leg-wise then at least be solid, be organised and see the game out. And they did that.
"Miles was excellent, cut inside. I said to him it's the first time I've seen him use his side-foot since I've been at the club. What a finish, he was excellent.
"Aaron was good, our whole team worked tiredlessly today especially the first half, they looked a bit leggy second half. But to a man I thought we were outstanding.
