Hereford manager Josh Gowling has been chosen as the National North manager of the month for October.

Josh Gowling was a composed centre-back during his playing days - and as a manager he is showing he has total control as well.

Hereford had four weeks to remember, winning five of their six matches.

They not only begun their rise in the league, but they stormed through in the FA Cup, setting up a money-spinning tie against Portsmouth.
