James Melhado Playing For Newcastle Town
Hereford have brought in full-back James Melhado on a month-long loan from Salford.
Subject to FA and National League ratification, the 21-year-old will be available for selection for the Bulls' home match with Darlington tomorrow.
Melhado played with Ryan McLean for Newcastle Town during the 2020/21 season, while prior to that he was in the Wolverhampton Wanderers Academy. His career has also seen him captaining Burton's youth team.
Melhado made his Salford debut in the Papa John's Trophy, playing the full 90 minutes in a 1-0 loss to Oldham. He has also been on loan at Ashton United and AFC Telford.
He picked up an injury earlier in the season but Salford say he is now fully recovered.
Meanwhile, Harrison Summers has joined Hereford Pegasus on loan.
