Gowling Felt It Was Right To Postpone Last Saturday's Game

In his post match interview at Brackley last night Josh Gowling was asked about the National League's decision to postpone last Saturday's matches because of the death of the Queen.

Were you disappinted not to play?

"Not really, the Queen had just died,"said Gowling.

"It's not something that happens regularily.

"For us the Queen means a lot to a lot of people.

"People wanted to pay their respects and the National League's way of showing their respect was not playing games.

"Now other people have other opinions on it. I've seen some things with people saying play the games and show respect that way but we've shown our respect today with the one minute silence.

"I just feel in an occasion like that with someone so special to everyone I think it was probably right they did that."
