A few days ago BN highlighted the fact that one of the Wrexham keepers was being paid £6K per week.
It now appears that this keeper isn't the highest paid Wrexham player.
According to VNL Insider, the £14,500 weekly salary paid by Wrexham to their attacker Elliot Lee, plus an incentivised bonus of £500 per goal, makes him the highest paid player in non-league history.
So one National League player is being paid than all the players currently with Hereford FC.
Meanwhile York have sacked their sporting director Dave Penney.
