Full time: Alvechurch 1-4 Hereford

This Trialist Scored Hereford's Third Goal

Hereford have won their latest pre-season friendly, beating Southern Premier side Alvechurch 4-1 at Lye Meadow.

In a pretty even first half, it was a Ryan Lloyd strike that proved the difference, driving home after good work by Ryan McLean.

After the restart, Tyrone Barnett’s fine header from a corner ball made it 2-0. Alvechurch pulled a goal back through Tyrell Hamilton, but then a substitute triallist (the one who scored a hatrick at Coalville) netted Hereford’s third with a chip over the goalkeeper.

McLean wrapped up the win in the late stages, connecting onto a Miles Storey through ball to drill into the net and make it 4-1.

This was a well-rounded performance from Josh Gowling’s side with the season just over a week away, against a strong and determined Alvechurch.
