HUST Launches Campaign For Nominated Director

HUST is pleased to launch the 2022 Recruitment Campaign for a Nominated Director on the board of Hereford FC.

Richard Tomkins, Chair of HUST confirms, "The Board of HUST is pleased to be able to report that the annual process of selecting a Nominated Director, is now open for applications from HUST Members. The process is due for completion by the end of May 2022.. Tony Taylor stands down by rotation and I’d like to thank him for 3 years hard work supporting HUST principles on the HFC Board. This year’s successful applicant will be appointed for a three-year term of office up to May 2025.”

“The Supporters Trust is the Club’s largest single shareholder and has developed a vision for the organisation and the Football Club that its Nominated Directors will play a key role in moving forward.

Our current mission statements we will all be working towards are:

  • Actively engaging with our members, supporters and the wider community.
  • Working cooperatively to maximise the potential of the Club both on and off the field.
  • Work with the Club to ensure long term viable and sustainable financial performance.
  • Encouraging the development of home-grown talent.
  • Assisting the Club in developing first-class facilities at Edgar Street.
  • Purchasing 50% of shares in the Football Club.

Hereford FC has a unique ownership model that sees the Supporters Trust as one of six major shareholders. There are currently 7 Directors at the Football Club. HUST nominates three Directors to the Club board. Four are appointed by the Club's other shareholders. Each Director on the Football Club board undertakes a specific role.”

“The role is open for any HUST Member to apply for and we welcome applications from all as we are keen to make the most of the talents within our supporter base.”
