Bulls bring in new striker

Hereford have signed striker Andre Wright on non-contract terms.

The 25-year-old joins the Bulls from fellow National League North side AFC Telford having joined the Bucks from League of Ireland Premier outfit Sligo Rovers.

Wright started his career at West Bromwich Albion in the Baggies' youth set up and scored for their Under-21s against Hereford in a friendly in July 2015.

He also had loan spells at Kidderminster (whom he later signed for), Torquay and Coventry.

Speaking to Hereford's official website, Bulls manager Josh Gowling said that Wright has a lot of energy and holds the ball up and is 'probably a bit more rough and rugged than Mo Faal and Mo Touray'.

Meanwhile, defender Jamie Egan has extended his stay at Edgar Street until the end of the season after joining on loan from Bristol Rovers.
