York City are the visitors to Edgar Street and their squad could contain two former Hereford players.
Mitch Hancox, pictured above, is on loan at York for the rest of the season and Lenell John-Lewis is also there on loan from Grimsby.
Yesterday Hancox scored twice in York's 3-0 win over Guiseley. John-Lewis also started for York but was subbed half way through the second period.
After yesterday's game Josh Gowling was asked whether Hancox could play against Hereford next Saturday.
"I hope not.
"He's on loan. Unless I know something different he shouldn't be able to play."
Gowling also reflected on York moving up the table.
If Hereford, currently in seventh position, had won their last two games they would have had an eight point advantage over York.
"Now, all of a sudden, we are looking the other way with York coming here, they've had a good result today and they're doing well.
"That's the pressure you get when you are where you are.
"People looking to chop you out of the play-offs and get that spot. We've got to bounce back now."
