The greatest ever FA Cup run would come to an end at Upton Park, with thousands of Hereford supporters locked out. Sir Geoff Hurst would score a hat trick, but Hereford had the last say with a consolation goal from Billy Meadows. The cup run raised the profile massively of The Bulls and they would be elected into the Football League a few months later.
