In the absense of manager Alun Armstrong who is recovering following an emergency operation, assistant manager Darren Holloway spoke about tomorrow's game against Hereford.
Last Saturday Darlington defeated Telford 3-0 and they will be hoping to continue their recent better form.
"It was a good confidence boost for us to get a home win," said Holloway.
"To have a good performance with a 3-0 score-line is great.
"There's no reason why we're not capable of replicating that same result and performance.
"I truth I think this (Hereford) will be a more challenging game than Telford was, but you're not in football for easy rides."
Hereford's away form, which include winning at York recently, is better than their home form.
"Yes they won at York and a cup game.
"It's a different proposition than Telford but I think league positions this early on in the season don't mean a great deal
"So we've got to go into it with the right mindset, right attitude and have a right good go on the day."
