Ryan Bowman, the former Hereford United striker, suffered 'heart palpitations' whilst playing for Shrewsbury at Ipswich yesterday.
He was taken to hospital after leaving the pitch during the first half of the game.
"He had huge heart-rate problems. I don't know quite what that's about. He was having palpitations," said manager Steve Cotterill.
This morning Bowman tweeted:
