Under 18 football is to return to Hereford FC. A team is to be set up to play in the Sporting Touch Midland Junior Premier League starting this coming season.
First team manager Josh Gowling has welcomed the news.
"I’m delighted that we have an U18s back at the Football Club," he said.
"It is vital for the future of the Club that we have systems in place that allow young and hungry players to play football."
Chairman Rob Crawford said it was an excellent opportunity to extend our Community Football Family.
"Although it isn’t necessarily a pathway to the first team, if any player was good enough and made the first team, what a bonus this would be to the Club, Player and Herefordshire."
Jon Nash is Hereford's Community Engagement Manager. He is looking to recruit a Community U18s Team Manager and Assistant Coach for the new venture.
