Rob Purdie thinks there are a lot of similarities between Morpeth and Hornchurch and he hopes Hereford manager Josh Gowling has done his homework on tomorrow's opponents at Wembley.
Morpeth defeated Hereford 4-1 in the FA Vase final five years ago despite Purdie scoring for the Bulls after just 80 seconds.
"There are a lot of similarites with Hornchurch tomorrow compared with Morpeth five years ago," said Purdie who will be part of BBC H&W's commentary team at Wembley.
"I think Morpeth did a lot more homework on us than what we did on them.
"We had had such a good season winning week in week out and I think we were a little bit over-confident.
"I think what Josh needs to do with the Hereford squad is make sure they understand what Hornchurch's threats are and how to use our strength against them. If they don't do that then I just can see Hornchurch - they are going to work hard, they are going to be physical, they are a good team and they've got a decent manager.
"It is a tricky one for Hereford although they are a step above them."
Purdie spoke about Wembley not having many spectators tomorrow.
"It will be disappointing to see such a big stadium so empty but at least a handful of people who get to see their team hopefully win at Wembley."
At the Vase final Hereford fans were sat on the far side of the stadium.
"The good thing for us was where the Hereford fans were. They were opposite us so as we walked out they faced us. If they were behind us we would seen an empty stadium coming out.
"Wembley is probably the best known stadium in the whole world. Doing that in front of my family, in front of over 20,000 Hereford fans, that's something which no one will ever take away from me, that's for sure."
