With the news that Jon Hale is rejoining the Hereford FC as chairman, there are now seven directors on the club board.
Hale was the first chairman of the new club in 2015. But he stepped down in October 2016 suggesting a conflict of interest after having set up a sport based company.
At the time his brother Will explained that they had ' launched a new company that is sports based. The 'conflict of interest' is down to that - don't want it to be seen that we are using HFC to benefit ourselves.'
His resignation came as a shock to supporters. Hale was the 'face' of the new club.
Efforts to coax him back onto the club board earlier sadly failed. He was asked to consider rejoining the board when Andrew Graham was chairman but decided not to.
However he has had a change of heart and his appointment will be welcomed by shareholders and supporters alike.
