Given all the gloom and doom of the 'past' season, it's good to hear that clubs have started to arrange pre-season friendlies.
And one of the first to confirm a friendly are the Jersey Bulls.
They are set to play National North Kettering Town at Jersey's home ground on July 17th. It will be their first home game for over 16 months. And they are hopeful supporters will be able to attend.
"What helps us as a football club is the season has been curtailed and we can focus on next season," said Jersey director Ian Horswell.
"We’ve got lots of exciting things happening next season which we’re looking to reveal soon.
"We’ve got a pre-season fixture lined up to play Kettering Town and we’re
now waiting for government guidance to see what else we can do as we
want to attack next season. If we can get a good pre-season programme
and get off to a good start, then bring it on."
