Whilst the National North League has ended for this season, Hereford have at least one more game to play.
And that is on Saturday week at Aldershot in the FA Trophy.
Should Hereford win that tie then they will receive £7,500. Should they be defeated then it £2,000 in the bank account,
The semi-finals take place a month later on March 27th. A win at this stage is worth £15,000. Losers receive £5,000
A win at Wembley, whenever that might be, would bring in £60,000. Even losing the final is worth £30,000.
However the problem Hereford have got to factor in is the cost of keeping the squad together with little other income coming into the club.
Say, for example, The Bulls win at Aldershot then get knocked out four weeks later. The club would receive £12,500 to go towards five weeks wages and expenses.
Financially this doesn't look good, but progress in the Trophy might help keep much of the squad together for next season?
