National League specialist Ollie Bayliss has submitted a 'freedom of information request to DCMS' about the funding of clubs by the League this season.
A decision was announced last Friday to suspend the season for two weeks whilst efforts are made to try and change a decision by DCMS that clubs should receive loans not grants for the rest of the season. Some clubs say their articles of association don't allow them to receive grants.
Bayliss is asking for information about agendas, minutes and summaries from meetings involving DCMS, the FA and the National League when finacial support to clubs was discussed.
He is also asking for correspondence between the three bodies and and internal communications involving senior DCMS representatives.
Meanwhile Concord Rangers chairman Ant Smith has asked the National League for the minutes of meetings held recently.
