Former Hereford player Mike McGrath was sent off this evening for allegedly hitting the referee.
It has been reported that the midfielder - who is the captain of Kettering - slapped the referee's hand as he was noting his name down for a yellow card.
McGrath is also believed to have used foul and abusive language towards the official following his dismissal and damaged a changing room.
The incident against Leamington happened in the sixth minute and Kettering were already 1-0 down at the time in the FA Trophy 4th Round match.
Kettering had two further players sent off and Leamington won 3-0. The match was severely delayed due to a floodlight failure.
Leamington will now face Hereford at Edgar Street in the fifth round on February 6.
