It's Nice To Get Another Win Said Burr

Hereford assistant manager Steve Burr was pleased to get the 3-0 win over St Neots in the FA Trophy this evening.

Afterwards he spoke to Keith Hall.

"It's nice to get another win and get through to the next round of the Trophy," said Burr.

"There was a big emphasis on doing a professional job and the attitude had to be right but I thought again tonight some of our football was really good.

"Probably second half disappointed we didn't score more goals but we are through to the next round.

"Wins breed confidence. We had a good performance on Saturday and it was nice to back that up again tonight with another good performance and another win here at Edgar Street.

"All credit to St Neots, they've come here and they've tried to play and they've kept playing right the way through. When they got on the ball they tried to play it and pass through us. Full credit to them.

"In the end we just had too much for them and the goals in the first half came at the right time for us. It was a really good convincing performance from the lads."

On the downside Hereford picked up a few injuries.

"We've picked up a few injuries tonight which has not helped.

"Hopefully by Saturday we'll have a strong enough side out to go and beat Nantwich.

"We hope Kennedy Digie will be back for Boxing Day, it was a hamstring injury so they take two to three weeks but hopefully he'll be back in contension for Kidderminster.

"It was nice that in the last ten/fifteen minutes to get one or two of the subs on and give them a run. Toby (Raison) is a young lad learning his trade, it was nice to see him on the park. For the ten minutes he was on he did well.

"At the moment it's probably a big ask for us to put him straight in, we really need to strengthen around that centre-half area because we are thin on numbers.

"Yan has gone in there tonight and done a great job for us but Grimes and Digie are our only two recognised center halves."
