It's emerged that social distancing rules as set out by the Sports Ground Safety Authority could mean that Hereford will only be able to have around 1400 spectators at any home game.
That was the number that 'inspectors' felt Edgar Street could cope with when they looked at the ground several months ago.
The criteria that is used is understood to be 'the socially distanced capacity of the ground' as calculated using SGSA's SG02 which is a 91 page booklet 'Planning for social distance at sports grounds'.
If around 1400 is the maximum number of spectators allowed in Edgar Street whilst Covid-19 regulation remain in force, then some supporters, who haven't already done so, may consider buying season tickets to ensure they can watch games.
Meanwhile if the Daily Mail is to be believed, Herefordshire may be placed in Tier Three when the latest information is released on Thursday. If so, games would continue behind closed doors.
