Next Tuesday's National League North game between Chester and Hereford is now set to go ahead after members of the Bulls squad received negative results for coronavirus.
Initially the match was postponed after three Hereford players felt unwell en-route to Spennymoor last Saturday. This weekend's game against Kettering was also called off; however it is now too late for it to go ahead.
An updated fixture list can be found here.
Here's how Chester have reported the news:
Our home game against Hereford on Tuesday 10th November will now go ahead as planned.
The match had been postponed earlier this week after Hereford’s game on Saturday was called off due to a ‘covid related issue’ within their first team squad.
However, the Bulls have since undertaken a testing regime in-house which have brought back all negative results.
As a result of this, The National League have lifted Hereford’s period of isolation, meaning the game at the Deva Stadium on Tuesday will take place.
