Most Chairmen haven't got a clue about football says Turner
In
advance of this week's League Chairman's Annual General Meeting,
Hereford United chairman Graham Turner has taken a swipe at his
colleagues saying that most of them haven't got a clue about football.
"It's almost interesting going and mixing with (chairmen) from the Championship downwards, talking to different clubs. I think they all have the same problems - most of them finance," Turner told the Official Site.
"Clubs are expected to lose several millions at Championship and First Division level but I think we are on firm foundations. Everybody knows we try to live within our means. We haven't got the benefactor many clubs have got, making up the shortfalls.
"I spend a lot of time talking to managers, it's sometimes different talking to chairmen. You get a different prespective on things.
