Chester FC will decide on Monday if they will take part in the National North play-offs.
The other five clubs have agreed to take part.
"A board meeting will take place on Monday to ratify clubs position," said Chester chairman Andrew Morris.
"At present we continue to engage with National League and other relevant
stakeholders as we will only enter the play offs if it is safe and
financially viable to do so.
"We have been working on a Covid protocol with the National League and our nominated Covid medical officer which identified the requirement to test 25 individuals tested over a three week period for us to be allowed to participate, this includes players and support staff.
"This testing costing alongside all other associated costs will then form a business case for the club's board to consider."
