Manager Gavin Cowan is setting the example by agreeing to a 50% cut in his wages.
"In times like this I believe the manager needs to make a statement and he has to act accordingly if you're going to ask players and staff to do the same," he told the Shropshire Star.
As regards his budget Cowan realises there is pressure on his board because of this season being cut short and uncertainty when next season will start.
"We’ll have to cut accordingly,” he said.
"There’s masses of pressure on the board and myself, which I completely understand.
"We will have to slash accordingly and if we start to have a good season the board might see it fit to increase that."
