Graham Turner took over as manager, and the club enjoyed its best season in over 10 years. The team also reached the 3rd round of the FA Cup, but were eventually knocked out in a replay at Tottenham Hotspur. Hereford finished 6th in the 3rd division , but were knocked out in the play off semi finals by Darlington.
